Sumi Masatake sensei (Hanshi 8 Dan) Kendo seminar and the Kendo Coach Examination(Registration has closed.)

Sumi Masatake sensei (Hanshi 8 Dan) will be conducting a Kendo seminar in Hong Kong on 30th May to 2nd June. Details are as follow:

Date: 30th May (Fri)

Location:  Java Road Sports Centre- Activity Room(Large)

Time: 9pm-11pm

Topic: Keiko

Target: Open for all with Bogu

Entry Fee: HKD$150 (College and Primary Student Free of Charge.)

 

Date: 31st May (Sat)

Location: Queen Elizabeth Stadium – Function Room 2

Time: 9am to 12:30pm

Topic: Kendo Coach Examination Seminar and Keiko

Target: The coach examination New and Renewal applicants (include those coach exam applicants who did not attend Kiyono sensei Kendo seminar (Please bring Bokuto, Shinai and Bogu) 

Entry Fee: Coach Exam New and Renewal applicants, College and Primary Student are Free of Charge. Other Kendo practitioners HKD$150

 

Date: 1st June (Sunday)

Location: Harbour Road Sports Centre- Dancing Room( Large)

Time:8am-12pm

Topic: Coach Examination and Keiko.

Target: Coach Examination New applicants. (Please Bring Bokuto, Shinai and Bogu)

Entry Fee: Coach Exam New applicants. Other Kendo practitioners HKD$150

 

Date: 2nd June (Monday)

Location: Queen Elizabeth Stadium – Function Room 2

Time: 9:00pm to 10:30pm

Topic: Keiko
Target: Open for all with Bogu

Entry Fee: HKD$150 (College and Primary Student Free of Charge.)

 
1.Renewal applicants if absent from Kiyono Shinobu sensei seminar either on 18th,19th or 20th Apr 2025 must attend Sumi Masatake sensei seminar on 31st May 2025 (Sat).
2.All new applicants must attend Sumi Masatake sensei seminar on 31st May 2025 (Sat).

Interested individuals MUST register through their Dojo President/representatives. Please email the registration form and payment record to us 20th May 2025 (Tue) 5pm. 

If you show up on the day without registration and payment, you must pay HKD$200 on-site.

Note 1: Prior registration and prepayment is REQUIRED irrespective of Dan levels. 

Note 2: Participants MUST register through dojo representatives.

All applications will be subjected to the final decision of the Executive Committee of HKKA.

 

Payment method

1.Participants should deposit the payment in The Kendo Association of Hong Kong, China Limited bank account in Hang Seng Bank Limited: 281- 264200-001 while using cash deposit, ATM or online transfer. The receipt should be sent to HKKA by post, e-mail or fax.
