16th HK Asian Open Kendo Championships 2016 (Local participants)

We are pleased to announce the 16th HK Asian Open Kendo Championships 2016 will be held on 26th February – 28th February 2016 at Tin Shui Wai Sports Centre, New Territories.

16th HK Asian Open Kendo Championships 2016 application form should submit either by emailhkka@hkolympic.org or by fax (2890 8052).

Application deadline: on or before 17:00, 30th December, 2015 (Wed)

Attention:

1. Participants who have registered must attend the HKKA training every Tuesday and Sunday. The training will start from 3rd January,2016. Attendance will be taken and scores will be counted during the Shiai on Sunday.

    

Training schedule are as follows:

Every Tuesday

20:00 – 21:00 Kihon & Waza

21:00 – 22:00 Godou Keiko

Venue: Leighton Hill

Every Sunday

8:30a.m.-9:30a.m. Kata & Iaido

9:30a.m.-10:30a.m. Shiai  (attendance will be taken from  9:30 session)

10:30a.m.-11:30a.m. Training

11:30a.m.-12:30p.m. Godo Keiko

Venue: Function room 2, Wan Chai Queens Elizabeth Stadium

(The venue and training time may vary according to booking, it would mainly in Hong Kong Island. Changes in training location and time slot will not be informed personally, thus members are required to keep up with the updated training time and venue online regularly.)

Because the number of teams is limited and the teams are representing Hong Kong, The Coaches of Hong Kong Team will decide the HK Team members and arrange the team Order of this Championship.

Remark: Explanation for 16th HK Asian Kendo Championships and  17th World Kendo Championships will be given this Sunday (27 December 2015),  each Dojo please send representatives to attend.
