Kiyono Shinobu sensei (Kyoshi 8 Dan) Kendo Seminar

Kiyono Shinobu sensei (Kyoshi 8 Dan) will be conducting a Kendo seminar in Hong Kong on 18th, 19th and 20th April. Details are as follow:

 

Date: 18th April (Friday)

Location: Queen Elizabeth Stadium – Function Room 2
(18 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong)

Time: 7pm to 10:30pm

Topic: Focus on Kihon practice (基本練習), techniques that can be applied in Shiai & Examination and practical exercises (試合や審査で使える技、実践練習). Keiko 50 mins
Target: Open for all levels of Kendo participants with Bogu. (Please bring Bogu and shinai.). 
Entry Fee: HKD$150 (College and Primary Student Free of Charge.)

 

Date: 19th April (Saturday)

Location: Ap Lei Chau Sports Centre – Activity Room Large

(No.8 Hung Shing Street, Ap Lei Chau, Hong Kong.)

Time: 4pm to 8pm

Topic: Focus on Kihon practice (基本練習), techniques that can be applied in Shiai & Examination and practical exercises (試合や審査で使える技、実践練習). Keiko 50 mins
Target: Open for all levels of Kendo participants with Bogu. (Please bring Bokuto, Bogu and shinai.). 
Entry Fee: HKD$150 (College and Primary Student Free of Charge.)

 

Date: 20th April (Sunday)

Location: Queen Elizabeth Stadium – Function Room 2
(18 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong)

Time: 8:30am to 12:30pm

Topic: Shinpan training seminar focusing on practical referee skills (審判の実技講習会). Keiko 50 mins.
Target: 2 D
an or above. (Please bring your own flags.)
Entry Fee: HKD$150 (College and Primary Student Free of Charge.)

*Those intending to be referee at the coming Great Bay Macao HK tournament: 1) if they had not attended any referee seminar in the past year, it is a must to attend Kiyono sensei's referee seminar, and 2) must be registered with valid coach license.

 

Payment is also required for members who will join Keiko only.

Prepayment HKD$150, On-site payment HKD$200.

Interested individuals MUST register through their Dojo President/representatives. Please email the registration form and payment record to us on or before 15th April 2025 (Tue) 5pm

If you show up on the day without registration and payment, you must pay HKD$200 on-site.

Note 1: Prior registration and prepayment is REQUIRED irrespective of Dan levels. 

Note 2: Participants MUST register through dojo representatives.

All applications will be subjected to the final decision of the Executive Committee of HKKA.

1.Participants should deposit the payment in The Kendo Association of Hong Kong, China Limited bank account in Hang Seng Bank Limited: 281- 264200-001 while using cash deposit, ATM or online transfer. The receipt should be sent to HKKA by post, e-mail or fax.
