Obituary

Today I ask all of you mourn the passing of Fukumoto Shigehiko sensei who passed away peacefully on 21st of September at the age 74 with his family at beside. 

Expressing deep sorrow over the passing, Fukumoto sensei is highly praised for his great contribution to the HK Open Kendo Championships for several years when he was one of the FIK delegations. His recent appearance was made in the 18th HK Open Kendo Championships this year .

He also actively served as instructor to present kendo techniques and educate Kendo players in many seminars held by AJKF. 

On behalf of the HKKA members I extend our deepest condolences to Fukumoto sensei’s family and may he rest in peace.
